If you have guests with limited mobility, contact us so we can discuss ways to get your friends and family on board safely and ready to enjoy the cruise
Accessibility is always a challenge on the water, and although the Fremont Avenue does not meet the requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act, we do make an effort to provide access to people with limited mobility.
Docks. Both of the docks we use, Fisherman’s Terminal and Lake Union Park, have excellent accessibility. Both of these facilities are fully ADA compliant, with wide ramps leading to the floats where we dock. There is ADA parking nearby and both facilities have ADA accessible restrooms nearby.
Boarding. Depending on where we are docked, there will usually be a couple of steps up onto the deck. The steps are open and allow people on both sides to assist an individual to climb those steps. Portable wheelchair ramps can be used at Fisherman’s Terminal and Lake Union with some advance notice.
Main deck. The main deck is on one level once a person is on board. Standard wheelchairs will fit through the doorways. The restrooms are on the main deck. We can provide extra seating with some notice.
Upper deck. Access to the upper deck is by a stairway.
